Disney has announced that they are launching a series of films and tv shows based on their original Star Wars series. The first episode of the tv show will begin airing in 2016, and will be titled ‘The Mandalorian’.

This will not only add a whole new dimension to the world of Star Wars but it also means the return of some old characters who fans were longing for.

The story of the tv series revolves around a bounty hunter named Mando. He is hired by Darth Vader himself to track down a group of rebels called the First Order, led by Kylo Ren. It seems that he is the last hope against them.

It appears that Disney wants to capitalize on this huge success by introducing other spin-offs in the same universe. For example, a tv show starring Boba Fett, another film featuring Chewbacca, and a new animated series about Rey’s adventures.
