“The Young The Giant” is a fascinating movie. It tells the story of a young person who through many setbacks over his life, reaches a turning point and then uses that change to go on to accomplish tremendous things. There are many aspects of the story that are amazing and that make it very entertaining. What I think is most interesting is the way this young person learns to use his mind and this in itself is rather remarkable. I will take a moment to explain how learning to use your mind can benefit you and help you reach goals.

The power of the mind is something we all have: I’ve seen many people, young or old, have an amazing ability to think and reason and to come up with creative ideas. We all have the power to think and to create. If you have ever seen a child develop some amazing machinery, you might wonder what they were thinking when they were doing it. They weren’t simply having a light wind jitterbug in their head, they knew what they were doing and their minds were preparing them to create that work of art.

In the same way: we all have the power of the mind to do wonderful things. That doesn’t mean we are born with this gift. It means that we learn how to use our minds and how to adapt what we’ve learned in life to the new circumstances we find ourselves in. In some cases, we may find ourselves in an unfamiliar situation and have no idea how to approach it, or what to do. That’s where the power of the mind comes in.

When we are in new and unfamiliar circumstances: the first thing we do is to try to analyze what we can learn from the experience. This is a natural reaction. We don’t always get it right, but what we can usually gather from a new experience is the ability to look at the world from a different perspective. We can analyze what we learned from the new experience and use that information to our advantage. This is the key to having the Giant Mind over Matter.

The next thing: we do is to remember all the things we learned from our childhood. We can use all the knowledge we can gather to leverage our growing mental muscles to solve the problem at hand. For example, if we learned that anger is bad and we find ourselves getting angry, we can remember our childhood lessons and use that knowledge to deal with the anger issue. This is a way to keep the Giant Mind over Matter in action.

Finally, when we find ourselves in a new situation: we can simply use our mind to think about the best way to approach it. This is a good way to not get too stressed out. Sometimes, this is all we need to make a positive change and turn a new positive situation into a new successful outcome.

Using our mind over matter is a great tool for any adult who is facing life in a new way and needs a mental boost.
